Bio
As a music editor with over 100 feature film credits, Jay has enjoyed a creative career that has made good use of his varied background in music as a saxophone player with a degree in music composition. His love of adventurous music was first realized at the age of 9 when he planted the squeaker from a dog toy in his brother's trombone. Jay's passion for finding the unique musical voice for a given film has led him to work in a wide variety of genres. Jay has worked with composers that include Alberto Iglesias, David Wingo, Rachel Portman, and James Newton Howard, and filmmakers as diverse as Jeff Nichols, Quentin Tarantino, Ed Zwick and Marc Forster.
