Home Town: Westlake Village, CA
First Concert: Michael Bolton
Bio

A Los Angeles native, Ryan grew up with quite a few children of production and post professionals. He began playing the piano early in grade school, and moved on to guitar and bass in high school. During college, Ryan began taking steps toward a business degree, but it was a music production elective that shifted his focus back to his passion for music. Ryan then attended the Ex'Pression Center for New Media, a trade school in the Bay Area that focuses on studio and live sound engineering. After graduating, he worked as a live sound engineer in the Bay Area for a few years before moving back to Los Angeles to be close to his family. Ryan began working at music editorial company Modern Music, first in their music library, then as a technical engineer, assistant editor, and eventually as a music editor. He found the field of music editorial a great fit for both his musical and technical background.
