Bio
“I would characterize myself as efficient and creative, reliable and experimental, voicing my opinion while being a team player. As an accomplished sound editor, I recognize that often a small detail can convey a big idea. Sound is a language that is best expressed with few words.” Steffan Falesitch started his career in film restoration. He then moved to dialogue editor and finally to ADR supervisor and supervising sound editor. Over the course of his career, he has worked on all types of projects, both film and television and with most sound formats and methods. His vast experience strengthens his creative talent by providing a well-rounded understanding of post audio. Falesitch has received numerous award nominations and has won four MPSE awards and an Emmy for outstanding sound editing for the HBO miniseries “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee”.
