“I can’t believe that every day I get to help producers and directors bring their visions and stories to life. Mixing is a unique, creative endeavor where you work side by side to flesh out and create the world where the characters live and where you have the ability to forge and change the tone, nuance and style of a project using sound.” Marc Fishman studied film at USC and recording arts at Full Sail University. His internship at the independent post production facility EFX in 1990 launched his career in the industry. He spent the next 8 years as a dialogue editor, ADR supervisor, and later, Supervising Sound Editor. Although he loved being part of the editorial world, he transitioned to mixing full time at prominent sound facilities, including Digital Sound and Picture, Technicolor at Paramount, and Todd-AO before joining the creative team at Formosa Group. Fishman won a Primetime Emmy for his work on the miniseries John Adams, and has been nominated for several other Emmy, BAFTA, and CAS awards.
