Bio

“Over the past thirty years, I have had the opportunity to learn from the masters. This has helped contribute to me being able to see the thread of storytelling needed for any given project, then be able to use that expertise to craft great sounding project. Some artists use words, some use lenses, I get to use sound and create a magical representation of story by vibrating air. It still amazes me that I get to do this for a living." Jason King began his career in sound in Los Angeles as a teenager and relocated to Vancouver as sound designer for “Highlander” at the age of nineteen. Since then, he has developed an extensive array of credits in both television and features, and has garnered numerous award nominations, a Primetime Emmy, and an MPSE Golden Reel award.
